Laura Sildon, Executive Director
Laura was named Executive Director of the Nonprofit Village in November 2009 after consulting with the Village four years. She has been involved in all aspects of the organization's development and is thrilled to be a permanent member of the team. Laura brings over 20 years of management and marketing experience to the Village. She has also managed grassroots and fundraising campaigns for local, regional and national organizations. In addition to the Nonprofit Village, her other recent clients have included The First Tee, BAE Systems, Junior League of Washington DC, and National Retail Federation Foundation. Laura earned a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology at the University of Michigan and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore. She has nearly completed, except for thesis, a Master of Business Administration at George Washington University. She is a graduate of both Leadership Montgomery and Leadership Maryland.
Lindsey Froehlich, Operations Manager
Lindsey was hired as the first office manager/receptionist for the Nonprofit Village in October of 2009. She was promoted in March of 2012 to Operations Manager. Prior to her employment at the Village, she had been a middle and high school teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools. She graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Secondary Education.
